Corrections Policy ghkh.site
We aim to be accurate, but mistakes happen. This corrections policy explains how to report errors and how we fix them openly.
How to Report an Error
Email contact@ghkh.site or use our contact page. Include the page URL, the text you believe is wrong and a supporting source if possible.
Our Process
- We acknowledge reports, usually within 48 hours.
- We check the claim against primary sources such as WHO, CDC, NIH, NHS and official labels.
- Where a clinical reviewer is available, they confirm medical corrections.
- We update the page and its Last reviewed date.
- Significant corrections are summarised in a short "Correction" note on the page, with the date and what changed.
Types of Corrections
- Typos and wording: fixed quietly.
- Factual errors: corrected with a visible note.
- Outdated guidance: updated with the new source and date.
Examples
- A reader reports that a normal range in a table uses an older unit; we check the source, add both units and note the date.
- A guideline changes a first-line treatment; we update the guide, cite the new guideline and record the change.
- A broken link to an official source is reported; we replace it with the current page.
Why Corrections Matter for Health Content
Health pages are "your money or your life" content: mistakes can affect real decisions. Being open about what changed, and when, helps readers judge how current a page is and builds the trust that makes health information useful. It is also how we earn the confidence of clinicians who may later review our work.
Our Commitment
We do not hide or silently rewrite significant mistakes. Accuracy and trust matter more than appearances. Last updated 2026-10-11. Read our editorial policy.
